“Fragility” project

technique: oil, canvas, 1.40 × 2.00 m

Fragility explores the relationship between the human body and cultural heritage. The fragmented figure in the painting recalls both a vulnerable body and a damaged artefact, blurring the boundary between personal and collective memory.

The project reflects on how culture survives through fragments. When works of the past are damaged, displaced, or separated from their original context, they do not simply disappear. They continue to exist as traces, carrying memory into the present and acquiring new meanings over time.
